Paramount Pictures has released a new promotional spot for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning part one and is basically a supercut of all Tom Cruise run scenes from each Mission Impossible movie. While watching this video, it all made me want to make him run more!
Tom Cruise loves to run, it’s one of the many things he’s known for and when he starts running in a movie, that’s when the audience cheers in the theatre. This is my experience, at least. So, the studio is now using it to market Cruise’s latest film, and the video is called “TOM CRUISE RUNNING IN MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE FROM 1996”.
So, sit back, relax and enjoy watching Tom Cruise run for almost 11 minutes!
In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, first part, “Ethan Hunt and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake and dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, he embarks on a deadly race around the globe. Facing a mysterious and all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to realize that nothing matters more than his mission, not even the lives of those he cares about.
We’ve already seen footage of an airplane stunt Cruise is doing for the film. There’s also that crazy stunt where he sends a motorcycle off a cliff into a base jump, which is said to be “The Greatest Stunt in the History of Motion Pictures.” There’s also a fight scene that takes place on top of a train that was real, and a wild car chase sequence that audiences are going to love. Oh yeah, he’s also done some speedflying, which is one of the most dangerous sports in the world.
The film is also the protagonist Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simone Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa KirbyAND Henry Czerny together with the newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Clementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) e Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans), Charles Parnell, Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Marco GatisAND Cary Elwes (Saw). Nick Offerman (Parks and Amusement)Janet McTeer (Tumbleweeds, Albert Nobbs), Hanna Waddingham (Ted Lasso), e Holt McCallany (Mindhunter, Nightmare Alley).
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two will be released on July 12, 2023 and June 28, 2024.
