The first look at the long-awaited ‘It’ prequel titled ‘Welcome to Derry’ shows us the dark creature in all its glory. It seems Pennywise will be returning to more mundane terrain this time around for her first screen appearance, and fans are eager to witness her terrifying return.
Director Andy Muschiettiknown for his work on ‘The Flash’, he was responsible for reveal the image of Pennywise played by the talented Bill Skarsgård (also known for his role in ‘John Wick 4’) via the two-part hit ‘It’, available on HBO Max.
Not surprisingly, the productions of The prequel to ‘Welcome to Derry’. they have already started. This new series will explore the origins of Pennywise and how he came to inhabit the dark underbelly of the fictional and cursed city of Derry, located in Maine. The series is scheduled to launch in 2024 and fans can’t contain their excitement.
While little is known about the production, it is worth mentioning that the author of this story, Stephen King, is known for his ability to provide detailed and historical descriptions in his novels. In his original work, King gives us a comprehensive insight into Derry, from its infrastructure and architecture to its economy and the community ties among the inhabitants of this sinister city.
Through his social networks, the creator of wise penny and father of Joe Hill, author of ‘The Black Telephone’, shared an enigmatic poster featuring a deformed and repulsive figure. “Have you seen this man?” reads the sign. The image shows an evil smile, prominent teeth, thinning hair and a deranged gaze, totally associated with madness.
Attention. This man is extremely dangerous. If you see him, contact us now,” the poster reads, along with a phone number. This character will soon become the terror of the “Losers Club.”

Details that could reveal more of the prequel
Based on descriptions from King’s novel, this graphic depiction perfectly matches the terrifying image of the antagonist: “He’s a mysterious, demonic entity of evil. An unknown monster that preys on the children and residents of Derry every 27 years. Everyone knows that tastes better when you’re afraid. Find a seasoning similar to salting meat through the perception of fear “, so it is described in the pages of this book that accompanies us through chilling episodes.
According to the novel, Pennywise’s story dates back to 1715, when Derryans reported the disappearance of more than 300 people, before taking a 27-year hiatus and then resuming their period of death. Pennywise has always adopted a masculine appearance, but she is later compared to a spider queen due to her beastly appearance, in which she apparently shows signs of pregnancy.
