With the Brown family in tow, he embarks on a thrilling adventure when a mystery sends them on an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.
The previous director Paul King he did not return for this film as he was busy directing Timothee Chalamet in the next WB movie Wonka. Instead, the film will be directed by douglas wilson from a story created by King, Simone Farnaby, AND Mark Burton with Burton’s screenplay, Jon FosterAND James Lamont.
Wilson said in a statement, “I am absolutely delighted to be working with such a wonderful cast on the next chapter in the Paddington story. I was already a huge fan of our returning actors, but for them to be joined by Olivia, Antonio, Emily and Rachel is beyond thrilling.
Paddington in Peru will shoot in the UK, Peru and Colombia with principal photography set for July 24.
