Dark Star Pictures has released the trailer for their upcoming supernatural horror thriller The Abodewhich is a cross-generational Native American revenge ghost story.
In the film, “In the 1800s, a handsome young Native American named Talako is captured with the wife of a ruthless pirate known as Barbarossa, who then orders him burned alive at the stake. Witnessing Talako’s execution, Barbarossa’s wife Lara hangs herself. Talako’s spirit never ascends and haunts anyone who approaches the old house. Nearly 300 years later, Lara and Talako meet face-to-face and discover that everything happens for a reason.
The film is directed by Claudia La Bianca and stars Ariadna Gonzalez Medina, Montana Cypress, Karmel Bortoleti and Chris Darsow. The film will be available July 11 on digital and July 18 on DVD.
