I have a trailer here for a new upcoming horror movie titled Natty knocks and stars in horror icons Robert Englund, Bill MosleyAND Daniel Harris. The film comes from the director Dwight H. Smallwhich he directed Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, the Phantom of the Opera (1989) and an episode of Freddy’s nightmares.
The film is set on the eve of Halloween… and the story follows “a small-town babysitter and the children she cares for struggle to survive a serial killer named Abner Honeywell.”
Vertical SVP of Acquisitions Tony Piantedosi said in a statement: “Natty knocks it immediately intrigued us given its collaboration of prolific horror icons who have defined the genre for decades. The film is a testament to Dwight’s experience as a director and we are delighted to have been able to participate in the project.”
The producers of the film added, “We couldn’t be happier that our indie thriller ‘Natty Knocks’ has found a perfect home with Vertical,” “Vertical is doing great things with independent distribution and we can’t wait for audiences to see the entertaining film that our talented cast and director have made.
The film is also the protagonist Charlotte Fountain Jardim (Wonderful Mrs. Maisel), Thomas Robi (Insidious – the last key), Noen Perez (Grace and Frankie), AND JasonJames Richter (Willy free).
Vertical will release Natty Knocks on July 21st.
