Nicolas Cage appears as Superman on the cover of DC’s BATMAN/SUPERMAN: WORLD’S FINEST #19

Nicolas Cage he has a fascinating history with DC as he was to play Superman Tim Burton’S Superman lives, which is a film that was never made. There was a big documentary made about the unmade film, but it’s back in the news due to the release of The flash.

After all these years, we’ve seen Cage in action as Superman, and it sure was a lot of fun! Now, Cage appears again as Superman on the cover of an upcoming DC comic, Batman/Superman: World’s Most Beautiful #19.

Rolling Stone shared the art that was created by the artist Dan Mora and shows Batman and Superman in the Batcave, and they’re joined by Nicolas Cage in a different, darker version of Superman’s costume. Also, instead of an “S” on the chest, Cage’s suit has an “N” for his name.

Mora told Rolling Stone, “I grew up watching Nic Cage movies and am a huge fan. I was thrilled that he finally got the chance to play Superman on The Flash and did my best to pay homage to him in that role. Nic is a great actor who injects so much energy into his roles. You can’t help but imagine what his Superman would be like.”
