Halle Berry made its fantastic debut in John Wick franchise in the movie John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. She played a character named Sofia Al-Azwar in the story and she also had a couple of attack dogs. They got involved in some pretty spectacular action sequences that fans of the franchise loved!
Barry has previously spoken about her character’s future, saying, “Sofia isn’t in the next John Wick movie. There could be a Sofia…her movie. So she might not be in John Wick, but she could be doing her own thing.” -What.”
Well, during a recent interview with Joe Rogan, director Chad Stahelski spoke about how Berry got involved with the franchise and confirmed that she’s in talks with the studio to make a spinoff film.
It turns out Halle Berry basically asked to meet the John Wick directors before they started work on John Wick: Chapter 3, and when she met them Stahleski said she said, “I want to be in your movie.” She added, “It was that simple. No bullshit. She said I’ll be in your movie.
He went on to say that after her, he said, “I’m flattered thank you, that’s very nice of you. I haven’t really written it yet. She said, “‘Yes, I know, that’s why I’m here, you’ll write it for me.’ And I’m like Ok, cool. Let me think, we’ll find a solution.”
Then she came back after the script was written, collaborated a little bit and helped make some changes, and then went to train. During that workout she said that she “freaked out,” but in a good way because she was so dedicated they couldn’t get her out of the gym.
Rogan went on to ask, “After that movie did she ever want to do it again?” To which Staheleski replied, “Yeah, we’ve been in talks several times to try and find… I hate the term spin-off, but they’re looking to do other satellite projects in the franchise, which is very flattering, hopefully they will.” they will make you be good”.
So, it looks like we might actually get a John Wick spin-off movie with Halle Berry, that would be great! I’d love to see this character in action in her story!
