New photos from Netflix’s ONE PIECE and episode titles revealed

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of A piece has stirred up some conversation since the trailer was released last weekend. Now we have some new photos to share with you featuring the members of the Straw Hat crew along with the episode titles from Season 1.

The project appears to be making a bold attempt to match the wacky energy of the original anime, and I wish them the best of luck. I hope they can really pull it off and put on a great show, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

A piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) and his crew of pirates as they explore a fantasy world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s greatest treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.

The other main characters of the series include Zoro (Mackenyu), nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar).

Episode titles for Netflix’s One Piece series have been listed by the WGA (via: @OP_Netflix_Fan), but these are not in chronological order:

Don’t tell stories

The pirates are coming

Eat at Baratie’s!

The chef and the boy

The girl with the sawfish tattoo

The worst in the East

Steven Meda is co-writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series along with Matt Owens, who is also a co-writer and executive producer. The series is also starring Morgan Davis (The Wicked Dead) like Koby, Ilia Isorelys Paulino (The sex lives of college girls) as Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action point) like Helmeppo, Jeff Ward (Tricks) such as Stroller, McKinley Belcher III (Ozarks) as Arlong, e Vincent Regano (Troy) as Garp.

The 10-episode series comes from Shueisha, publisher of Tomorrow Studios and One Piece. One Piece will be released on August 31st.
