Daniel Radcliffe passes the baton and rules out the starring role in the “Harry Potter” series.

In the first half of 2023, “Harry Potter” fans were shocked when Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed a Wizarding World series is being made for HBO Maxespecially since this title is a remake of already existing films, so some started wondering if actor Daniel Radcliffe would appear in this production.

It was in an interview for the Deadline medium where the lead actor in movies ‘Harry Potter’ was asked about how he feels knowing that this HBO Max series will re-adapt the same story that already appears on the tapes, and the artist reveals that he always knew this day would come because of the importance of this franchise.

The artist passes the baton to a new and young actor for the interpretation of the “boy who lived” in what will be the new series of ‘Harry Potter’, also answering the great doubt of the fans by indicating that their participation in this HBO Max title would not make sense considering that it is a sort of reboot of the story created by JK Rowling.

It seems that Daniel Radcliffe begins to definitively close his stage in the saga of ‘Harry Potter’, franchise in which he debuted in theaters in 2001 when he was just a child, participating in a total of eight films that have become a gigantic worldwide success, therefore, for many fans this actor will continue to be the protagonist of the Magical World .

Is Daniel Radcliffe back with a cameo?

The good news is that in that interview Daniel Radcliffe isn’t ruling out having some sort of cameo play another character, however, the artist deems it unlikely, even if the possibility exists, we must not forget that many franchises have done so lately, an example of this is that in the Netflix series ‘Merlina’ starring Jenna Ortega, we have seen Cristina Ricci again, but in another character.

We will have to wait a little longer to find out who will be the protagonists of all this new series of ‘Harry Potter’ for HBO Maxsince for the moment this title is in pre-production, so it has not yet been revealed what this adaptation will be like, or if it will have any changes compared to the films, since the narrative format for a series is very different.
