Here is a new clip from Jennifer LawrenceThe upcoming raunchy comedy by Without hard feelings. In the film, Lawrence plays a woman who is hired by a wealthy couple to “date” their ridiculously socially awkward son. The payout for that is a Buick Regal because, you know, she needs a new car.
On the verge of losing her childhood home, “Maddie (Lawrence) discovers an intriguing job posting: wealthy helicopter parents are looking for someone to ‘date’ their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he leaves for college. To her surprise, Maddie soon discovers that clumsy Percy isn’t a sure thing.
In the clip, Maddie and Percy are out on a date at a bar, and Percy is completely out of his element. It’s also his first time trying a Long Island iced tea, and it’s definitely not for him.
The film comes from the director Gene Stupnitsky (Good guys), and is also the protagonist Andrea Feldmann, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, AND Matthew Broderick.
Without hard feelings hits theaters June 23.
