Max has released a new trailer for the third season of the badass martial arts series Warrior, and this next chapter of the story looks great! This is a gritty, action-packed crime drama, and while it has a playful tone, it also features some intense and powerful fight sequences!
The series is actually based on the writings of the martial arts legend Bruce Lee. The story is set during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th century. It follows Ah Sahm, a martial arts prodigy who emigrates from China to San Francisco under mysterious circumstances.
The synopsis for season three reads, “In the wake of the race riots that rocked Chinatown in season two, Mai Lin uses her government ties to consolidate power, while Ah Sahm and Hop Wei must find new ways to survive.”
The cast of the series is led by Andrea Coji next to Kieran Bew, Celine Buckens, Olivia Cheng, Dianne Doan, Dean Jagger, Langley Kirkwood, Maria-Elena Laas, Hoon Lee, Christian McKay, Dustin Nguyen, Miranda Raison, Chen Tang, Joe Taslim, Jason Tobin, Joanna Vanderham, Tom Weston- JonesAND Perry Yung.
The show was created and executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (Banshees) and is also an executive producer of Justin Lin (F9: The fast saga), Danielle WoodrowAND Andre Schneider. Shannon Lee also produces for Bruce Lee Entertainment.
Max will release the martial arts drama on June 29.
