Ryan Reynolds (Dead Pool) AND Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express) have signed on to star in the action-adventure film, First of Maywhich is led by Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves directors Jonathan Goldstein AND John Francis Daley.
The film is in development at Apple TV+ and is based on an original pitch by Goldstein and Daley, who came to Skydance earlier this year with the idea, and was developed prior to Apple’s involvement. Once Reynolds showed interest in April in joining the film, the project started to gain serious momentum and while the start date is still undetermined, it seems likely this could be the next thing Reynolds picks up on. The logline is kept hidden.
Reynolds is currently filming Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studios and his Paramount photo Imaginary Friends is set to bow next year.
Branagh will be next to be seen in Christopher Nolan’S Oppenheimer inauguration July 21 This September acts and directs An obsession in Venicethe latest installment of his Agatha Christie trilogy for Disney, in which he reprises his role as “Hercule Poirot” alongside Tina Fey, Michelle YeohAND Jamie Dornan.
