THE WITCHER is looking to cast an A-list star to play Regis in season 4

Redanian Intelligence reports that Netflix is ​​looking to hire a “major and very capable Hollywood star in their late 50s or 60s” to play Regis in the series. He is a popular character from the books and it seems that the fourth season will be inspired by the novel Baptism of firewhich is the story where Regis is introduced.

I guess Netflix is ​​trying to get a big star in the role now that they have lost their big star in the series. Maybe they think casting someone with that kind of star power will lead people to tune in and watch the show sans Cavill.

For those of you who don’t know him, Regis was a very powerful higher vampire, who was over four hundred years old when he first met Geralt of Rivia. He was Dillingen’s barber-surgeon and surprisingly intellectual.
