Lionsgate has released a poster for Sylvester Stallone’S The mercenaries 4. It features cool graphics of a skull with a weapon mohawk and hype action star cast.
The next film in the franchise will follow the Expendables team as they become embroiled in a conspiracy that will ignite a nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States.
I actually saw some footage from this movie at CinemaCon, and if you’re a fan of the franchise, then you’ll love what’s in store for this movie. You can see our reaction to the footage here.
Stallone has previously spoken about his approach to the film’s action, explaining that they will be more “simplistic” and focus more on brute force. He says audiences will “marvel” at the intensity of the action scenes, so that’s something to look forward to!
Scott Waugh (You need speed) directs The mercenaries 4and the screenplay was written by Spender Cohenwith revisions by Max Adams AND John Joseph Connolly.
The film is also the protagonist Jason Statham, Iko Uwais, Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andy GarciaAND Tony Jaa.
