Wonder Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur it was a great success with the public. The first season was a lot of fun. Season 2 is on its way and will include a pretty impressive guest star. Edoardo Giacomo Olmos has joined the series and will take on the role of the main villain… Molecule Man.
Molecule Man is “a powerful being with the ability to manipulate non-living organic matter. Often feeling like there was no place for him, he escaped to a whole new planet and used his powers to create an incredible world of natural wonders, soon making it a popular destination for aliens and beings across the multiverse!
The character made his first Marvel Comics debut Fantastic Four #20, created by Stan Lee AND Jack Kirby. It is explained that when choosing an actor to play the character, they needed someone whose “voice was powerful enough to take on Lawrence Fishburne, who voices The Beyonder.” The creative team thought Olmos was perfect.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is based on the hit comic series from Marvel and the story follows the adventures of a 13-year-old super genius named Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. “After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City through a time vortex, the duo work together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.”
The series is also starring Diamond white (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Lion Guard) as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl); Alfred Woodard (Luca Gabbia) as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimì; Free Barer (Sneaky Pete) as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata (Saturday night live) as Lunella’s mother, Adria; Jermaine Fowler (Superior donuts) as Lunella’s father, James Jr.; Federico Tatasciore (Marvel’s Avengers reunite) as the only devil dinosaur; AND Gary Anthony Williams (Doc McStuffins) as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops.
Peter Weller he also joined the cast along with Colbie chokeswho will reprise her role as Maria Hill.
