Second Abel Ferrarawhich he directed Shia LaBeouf in the upcoming film Father Pio, LaBeouf is currently writing a film about Auschwitz and will tell a story set in the concentration camp. Ferrara and the actor are looking to collaborate together on this film project.

Father Pio it’s the first project LaBeouf has starred in after taking time off following allegations of abuse made in 2020 by his ex-girlfriend.

During an interview with The Film Stage, Ferrara was asked if he’s kept in touch with LaBeouf, Ferrera said, “He’s been doing really well, man. He’s really fine. He went off and made a film about Coppola [Megalopolis]. So it was, there was one of those movies, right? I intend, Father Pio it’s been 15 or 20 days and he’s been in for four, so he hasn’t been there for very long. But still, he was nice and is working.

Ferrara added, “We’re working on a film together – he’s writing something about Auschwitz that we’re thinking of doing.”
