Clive Owen (Children of men, closer, Gemini Man) is set to star alongside Daisy Ridley in the upcoming action thriller film set in London Cleaner. The film is directed by Casino Royale AND Green Lantern director Martin Campbell and looks like it’s going to be a solid action movie!
The film centers on “a group of activists who ambush an energy company’s annual meeting at the Shard, one of London’s most recognizable skyscrapers, and take 300 people hostage.”
However, “the cause is hijacked by an extremist within the group who is ready to kill to send a message. It takes the efforts of Joey Locke, an ex-soldier who is now a window cleaner (played by Ridley), to rescue the hostages while making sure that society is held accountable.
The project will go into production this summer, and this looks like the kind of project Owen will have some fun with.
