Raiders of the Lost Ark kicked off the popular Indiana Jones franchise in 1981. Next month, the fifth and presumably final film, Indiana Jones and Dial of Fate will be released in theaters. Although all of the above Indiana Jones films and series will be added to Disney+ at the end of May, fans will be able to relive the magic of 1981 as Raiders of the Lost Ark back to theaters soon. Additionally, each screening will include special content for The Dial of Destiny ahead of its theatrical launch on June 30.
In “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his feisty ex-flame Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) dodge booby traps, battle Nazis and stare at snakes in their incredible worldwide quest for the mystical Ark of the Covenant .
Fathom Events, Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm have decided to celebrate 40 years of Indiana Jones with the re-release in theaters of Raiders of the Lost Ark June 4th and June 7th. Screenings will be available at participating theaters at 4:00pm and 7:00pm local time.
