Quentin Tarantino Announces Death of His ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD Character Rick Dalton

Director Quentin Tarantino he creates his characters in such depth, it feels like they’re real people, and we’re just seeing a snapshot of their lives. One that he really honed on and brought real life to is the character of Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo Dicaprio In Once upon a time in Hollywood. Dalton was a Hollywood actor in the 1950s-1970s, mostly playing cowboys in western genre films and shows, with his series being more popular than him, Size law.

Tarantino has given a lifetime to Dalton, releasing the fictitious list of acting credits tied to the actor’s name, and has even written a book about his life and career. But sadly, just as the director gave him life, Tarantino announced that his famous Hollywood Western character, “Rick Dalton,” has passed away.

Tarantino announced the character’s death via tweet The video archives, a podcast co-hosted by the director and his pulp Fiction co-author Roger Avary.

“We are saddened to hear of the passing of actor Rick Dalton, best known for his roles in the hit TV series ‘Bounty Law’ and ‘The Fireman’ trilogy.” The tweet also offered more insight into Dalton’s story, stating, “Rick died peacefully at his Hawaii home and was survived by his wife Francesca. Rip Rick Dalton 1933-2023.

In the podcast, the duo revisit VHS classics like Moonraker, Stella 80, Rodan, and more. In a follow-up tweet following the announcement of the death, the series vowed to spend the next episode focusing on some of Dalton’s favorite roles.

“Due to his passing, the episode for roller it has been posticipated. Instead, we’ll be back on Tuesday with a Quentin-designed memorial episode that features some of Rick’s best roles.

The New Beverly Cinema, owned and operated by Tarantino, expressed its condolences on the loss of Dalton with a marquee special that dubbed him “a wonderful actor.”
