Agatha: Coven of Chaos is the next chapter directing us from the mystical corner of the Marvel universe. What began as a storyline within the first MCU/Disney+ series, Wanda Visionwill now explore the character of Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), a witch who once disguised herself as Agnes, Wanda Maximoff’s nosy neighbor. ON Wanda VisionAgatha has become obsessed with harnessing the “chaos magic” of Wanda, also known as the Scarlet Witch.
Marvel has kept the plot of the show under wraps, but last we saw of Agatha, the witch lost a fight to Wanda Maximoff. Then Agatha got trapped in her character of Agnes at Westview. We imagine the show will reveal how Agatha comes out of the spell she has been under and will follow her and her coven, including Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer ZamataAND Patti LuPoneon their next adventure.
But will this series pave the way for a whole new world of witchcraft? Possibly…
Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Amusement) recently posted a photo to her Instagram Stories, which features a director’s chair that reads: ‘Marvel Studios’ ‘The Darkhold Diaries’.
The Darkhold” is an ancient book of occult lore, said to give its greatest devotees control over the dark arts. Every Darkhold spell invites terror: it’s from a demonic god. It is the book present in both WandaVision and in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, helping Wanda try to get her children back. Looks like we’ll be learning a lot more about it soon!
