Hey! 20th Century Studios, New Regency and Entertainment One have released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming sci-fi action thriller The creator, and this film looks stunning! It seems to tell a strong and interesting story, and the images are incredibly amazing! This film will take the audience on an incredible journey!
This film tells a story on an epic scale, set in the distant future after a “catastrophic and apocalyptic war” between humans and artificial intelligence. John David Washington stars in the film as a character who is tasked with saving the world, but may have to kill an AI robot child to do so.
The film was directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), and is also the protagonist Gem Chan (Eternals), Ken Watanabe (Start), Sturgill Simpson (Dog), Madeleine Yuna Voyles AND Allison Janney (I, Tony).
In The creator“In the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-Special Forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end war…and humanity itself.
It is explained: “Joshua and his team of elite operatives journey across enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory… only to discover that the end-of-the-world weapon they have been ordered to destroy is an AI in the form of a child. “
The screenplay of the film was written by Edwards and Chris Weitzfrom a story by Edwards. The creator hits theaters September 29! Can’t wait to watch it! Looks like it’s going to be a great cinematic event.
