There has been a lot of news lately regarding the actors who James Gunn met for Superman: Legacy. In one of the reports, we learned that Gunn had met with at least one member of The Guardians of the Galaxy chosen for a specific role.
We didn’t know who that actor was with the initial report, but in a recent entertainment insider report @MyTimeToShineHwe learned that the Rocket Raccoon actor Bradley Cooper was offered the role of Lex Luthor, but reportedly turned it down.
This is just a rumor, I have no idea if there is any truth to it, but I don’t see Cooper playing Luthor, so I’m OK with him rejecting it.
It was Bradley Cooper and he’s not doing it https://t.co/psDc9mvOrW

It was previously revealed that Nicholas Hoult he was up for the role of Lex Luther, and in another repoir we learn the film may feature Apex Lex Luthor, and “Gunn has been seeing black actors for the part.” In the comics, Apex Lex Luthor had a hybrid human/Martian body, and it is said that he “could physically tiptoe with Superman”. However, the report states that “it’s unclear whether the Lex Luthor in Gunn’s film is actually Apex Lex Luthor.”
As for the other actors Gunn has met with, David Corenswet (Pearl) is the director’s first choice for Clark Kent/Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan, Samara texture, Emma MackeyAND Phoebe Dynevor I’m running for Lois Lane.
Superman: Legacy will introduce a new version of Superman and tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, driven by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
