Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange) has come aboard a new Marvel film franchise. The actor will play alongside Tom Hardy in Sony Picture’s upcoming Marvel film Poison 3.
Hardy will return as Eddie Brock e Temple of Juno he is also set to star in the film. We have no idea which characters Temple or Ejiofor play in the film.
There are no details yet to share about the story, which is being developed by Hardy, writer and director Kelly Marcelor who from the previous film will join the sequel.
I’m not the biggest fan of the first two movies because the stories were pretty average. But hey, the first two movies collectively grossed $1.36 billion worldwide! Hence, the public seems to like them. I guess audiences are just getting used to mediocre cinema.
One thing is for sure, Ejiofor is a great actor and I hope they really use his talent. The first two movies seemed to squander the talent they brought to the franchise, so we’ll see. Ejiofor will next appear in Rob Peace, which he also directed. He will also be back for Netflix The old guard 2.
