Disney+ Announces Premiere Dates for LOKI and ECHO Season 2

Disney+ has announced premiere dates for Loki Season 2 and the Hawkeye spin-off series Echo. Loki will launch its first episode on October 6, 2023 and will continue as a weekly series thereafter. Echo, on the other hand, will be released on November 29, 2023 and all episodes of that series will be released at the same time, which is a first for Marvel.

As you’ve heard, Echo has reportedly been dealing with some major issues behind the scenes, and at one point post-production was halted and there were rumors that Marvel may even cancel the series. The fact that the show is being downloaded to Disney+ all at once could show a lack of faith in the series. I don’t know, we’ll just have to wait and see! But I hope it’s good because I like the character!

In the series, “Echo’s origin story revisits Maya Lopez, whose unforgiving behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the meaning of family and community if he always hopes to go on”.

The Echo series was developed by Ethan Cohen AND Emilia Cohen, who are writers and executive producers on the show. The series is the protagonist Alaqua Cox, Charlie Cox, Vincent D’OnofrioZahn McClarnon, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Cody Lightning, Devery JacobsAND Graham Green.

As for Loki Season 2, the series is the protagonist Tom Hiddleston, OwenWilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Rafeael Casal, Wunmi Mosaku AND Richard E. Grant. It was also recently announced that Ke Huy Quan (The Goonies, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and all at once) has joined the cast!

Director Kate Herron and head writer Michael Waldron they went back to work Loki Season 2. Knight of the Moon directors Aaron Moore AND Justin Benson they are also set to direct episodes of the series. Eric Martin he’s writing all six episodes.
