Many fans say they would be more interested in seeing Driver play Dr. Doom, but with the actor having played a villainous character like the one before in Star Warsit makes sense that he doesn’t want to do it again.

I like Driver as an actor and he’s incredibly talented, so I have no problem with him in this role. If this update is indeed legit, I can’t wait to see his take on this classic Marvel character. It was also recently reported that Margot Robbie the role of Sue Storm has been offered, but there is no update regarding it. It’s not hard to imagine her in that role, though.

Kevin Feige previously said that Marvel’s first family will be a big pillar of the future of the MCU after their introduction. He said, “Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that has come since in comics. There have definitely been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the MCU narrative. And that’s something that’s really exciting for us. People will start hearing about it soon. We plan to be a big mainstay of the MCU in the future, just like they’ve been in the comics for 50 or 60 years.

Marvel producer Stephen Brussard he previously promised that the film will be a true celebration of the comic book source material: “I don’t assume I know everything about that film; I’m not necessarily working on it. But one of the founding principles of Marvel, going back to Iron Man and Tony’s casting that I think resonated today, is to embrace the source material and these comics that have been around forever. They are older than me and I guess they are also older than you. I’ve been around for a while for a reason, [so we] lean on that.

Matt Shakman ( Wanda Vision) is directing the film.
