As you know, Marvel likes to keep their movie scripts top secret so that spoilers for their movies don’t come out. There have been a few snags over the years regarding this but for the most part they do a good job!

Well, later James Gunn was fired by Disney as director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 because some controversial jokes have resurfaced from his Twitter feed, Pom Clementieff AND Karen Gillan they met privately to read the script he wrote for the film.

After he finished reading the Marvel movie script, Klementieff wanted to make sure the script was safe and no one got their hands on it, so he wanted to bury it in Gillan’s Garden! During a recent interview with IndieWire, Klementieff shared the story, saying:

“I came to Karen’s house and it was at a time when James Gunn shouldn’t have done the film anymore. So we decided to read the script together and cried the whole time. We laughed at the same time, then cried again.

Gillan added. “He was pretty emotional,” and then Klementieff said she started feeling paranoid. She said:

‘We should hide the script. Maybe we should bury him in the garden. I like to hide things and then I can’t find them. I’m like a squirrel. This is one of my problems.

Gillan confirmed all of this, saying: “He legitimately asked me to bury the Guardians of the Galaxy script in my garden. And I was like, ‘What do you mean? Put it in a closet or something!’”

I can’t help but laugh that Klementieff wanted to bury the Marvel movie script in a garden for safe keeping! It would have worked, though!
