Alan Ritchson (Reacher, Fast X) will star in the upcoming action thriller City of Motorswhich comes from director Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter).

Ritchson will play the role of John Miller in the story, “a Detroit man released from prison, who unleashes a rampage of brutal vengeance upon those who framed him. He explained that the film will “feature immersive visual storytelling, with incredibly choreographed and stylized action sequences.”
Bekmambetov is known for creating great stylized action sequences and it will be fun to see what he ends up doing with this next film project. Also, it’s great to see Ritchson making another big film project. Reach I’m definitely putting him on the map and I think we’ll start seeing him more and more in new projects. City of Motors looks like it’s going to be a great project to be a part of.
Ritchson will next appear in Fast X and the Lionsgate drama Ordinary angelsopposite to Hilary Swank. It also recently finished production of Black Bear Intl.’s The War Office Ungentlemanly as a director Guy Richie.
Bekmambetov said in a statement, “We have an incredible script that takes us into a horribly dark world. I am thrilled to bring this story to life on the big screen. With the help of our amazing cast and talented production team, we are ready to create a cinematic spectacle.”
