FREAKY writer developing holiday slasher film IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE starring Joel McHale and Justin Long

The horror comedy writer Capricious, Michael Kennedyhas a new Christmas slasher film project in the works titled It’s a wonderful knifeAND Tyler MacIntyre (Tragedies Girls) is set to direct. As for the cast, Jane Widdop (Yellow Jackets) takes the lead role of Winnie Carruthers, with Joel McHale (Community) set to play Winnie’s father David, and Justin Long (Barbarian) as the town’s patron, Mr. Waters.

The story is set in idyllic Angel Falls. “One year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ life is far from wonderful, but when she wishes she had never been born, she finds herself in a nightmarish parallel universe and discovers that without her things could be much, much worse. Now the killer is back and she must work with the town’s misfit to identify the killer and get back to her reality.
