Director Faith Alvarez (evil Dead) shot his upcoming film Alien film that will bring back the horror of the Xenomorphs. Apparently “Alien Day” was earlier this week and to mark the occasion, the director shared a photo from the set!

The film is the protagonist Cailee Spaeny AND Isabella Merced and are joined by David Jonsson (Industry), Archie Renaux (Shadow and bones), Spike Fearn (After sun), and newcomer Aileen Wu.
This is a standalone story in the Alien universe and follows a “group of young people in a distant world who are confronted by the most terrifying life form in the universe”.
It was previously revealed that this is not “connected” to the previous films. This story is set in another corner of the universe. Alvarez’s initial introduction is said to be a “really good story with a bunch of characters you’ve never seen before.”
Alvarez is directing from his own script written by Rodo Sayagues. Ridley Scott he is also a producer of the film along with Michael Pruss (Boston Strangler) for Scott Free, con Brent O’Connor (High speed train), Elizabeth Cantillon (Persuasion) AND Tom Moran (The king of donuts) as executive producers.
