Peacock has released the first teaser trailer and poster for its series adaptation of the hit video game Twisted metal, which is sure to be a crazy and fun show! I was a huge fan of the original game on PlayStation, and this series seems to be a blast!

Antonio Macchie stars in the series as a motorized-mouthed outsider named John Doe, “who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, he takes on savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other perils of the open road, including a deranged clown named Sweet Tooth who drives an all-too-familiar ice cream truck. .

The cast also includes Joe Seanoaaka Samoa Joe, who will play the dual role of Sweet Tooth, a character to be voiced by Will Arnet. Sweet Tooth is described as “a hilarious and terrifying man who is as emotional as he is cunning. A lover of mayhem, this majestic, rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and uses “Lost Vegas” as his personal killing ground, all while driving his infamous doomsday ice cream truck.

Other cast members include Mike Mitchell (Tomorrow’s War, Love), Tahj Vaughan (P-Valle), Lou Beatty Jr. (A million little things, NCIS extension), AND Riccardo Cabral (Maya MC, American crime).

Mitchell plays Stu, “best friends with Mike, the Rosencrantz and Guildensterns of this world, and together they often find themselves more followers than fighters.”

Beatty Jr. plays Tommy, “a grizzled, seasoned cartographer who knows the dangers of the Wild Midwest.”

Cabral plays Quiet’s “overprotective brother Loud in the live-action video game adaptation.”

Thomas Haden Church also plays Agent Stone e Neve Campbell.

Cobra Kai writer Michael Jonathan Smith is developing the series, which is based on an original version of Rhett Reese AND Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland). It is said to be a high-octane action comedy. Will Arnet he is also a producer.
