Disney announced it Chris Pino (Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) will star in their next animated musical comedy, Wish. He will play the Magnificent King in the film, the ruler of Rosas, a magical kingdom where wishes really do come true. He is joined by Ariana DeBosewho voices a young woman named Asha in the film.

“Wish features Asha, a witty idealist who makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force, a small sphere of limitless energy called a Stella. Together, Asha and Star set out to prove that when the will of a brave human being connects with the magic of the stars, wonderful things can happen.
Alan Tudyk he voices Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino, and the film is directed by the Academy Award-winning director Chris Buck (Frozen, frozen 2) AND Fawn Veerasunthorn (Raya and the last dragon). Lee AND Allison Moore (Night sky, Manhunt) are the authors of the project, with original songs by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Julia Michaels and Grammy-winning producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, as well as score by composer Dave Metzger.
Wish opens in theaters only on November 22, 2023.
