Genndy Tartakovsky’S Primordial it’s an insanely badass animated series and if you haven’t seen the first two seasons yet, you’re seriously missing out on the full beauty! If you’ve watched, you know what I’m talking about and you’ll be happy to hear that Tartakovsky has a big plan for season 3 and in a recent interview with CB, the creator of the series teased:

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
“I have something so spectacular in mind that I can’t wait to do it, and we’re trying to figure out how to do it. It’s a brand new world, but I really like it. I think everyone will love it. It’s a very natural progression without revealing anything, but I have more for the Primal world and I’m looking forward to more.”
Tartakovsky previously shared that he’s very excited about the ideas they’ve come up with for the next chapter in the story, saying:
“And then I started developing Season 3. I have an idea that I’m really excited about, an idea that’s going right up. After doing five seasons of Samurai Jack, two seasons of Primal, all of the Wars of the clones we have done, I have done so many battles and action.
“If I had to do it again, what would I do? How do I make it interesting for me and for the audience, so it’s not just a repeat of what I did? That’s why I was so excited about Primal. I’ve never done caveman style fights before. He has no skill, it’s just grittiness. Choreographing fights like that was really fun. Pushing him into a season 3 of Primal, if he gets there, what’s different? What can I do that I haven’t?”
Primal is currently streaming on HBO Max and the story follows a caveman at the dawn of evolution as he forms an unlikely friendship with a nearly extinct dinosaur. The stunning and epic series is a painting brought to life relying solely on music and graphic imagery to tell the story of two unlikely allies as they navigate a treacherous world. After bonding over unfortunate tragedies, they seem to become each other’s only hope for survival against a common enemy.
With Tartakovsky hyping Season 3 so much, it’s hard not to get excited, and I can’t wait to see what he ends up doing with this next chapter in the story!
