GHOSTBUSTERS: FIREHOUSE Set photos Surface with Winston Zeddemore and another surprise character

Some photos from the set of Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequels have recently emerged with the return of Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, and also reveal the return of another character from the original ghost Buster movie. The upcoming sequel is being referred to as for now Ghostbusters: Firehouse. This is “the next chapter in the Spengler family story.” It will officially return to New York City and is also expected to take place in the fire department headquarters that was featured in the first two ghost Buster movie.

With the film returning to New York City, I guess we can expect to see some more familiar faces. The images below confirm this William Atherton he’s back as Walter “Dickless” Peck, which is pretty awesome. I have no idea if he will come face to face with Bill MurrayIt’s Peter Venkman again, but fans can hope.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife co-writer and executive producer Gil Kenan is directing the sequel, with Beyond director and co-writer Jason Reitmann serving as writer and executive producer. The film is also the protagonist Patton Osvalt, Kumail Nanjianicomic James AsterAND Emily Alyn Lind they joined the cast! They join the returning cast members Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn WolfhardAND Mckenna Grace.

It was previously revealed that Hudson will have a decent sized role to play in the sequel. Reitman shared, “The character of Winston Zeddemore and Zeddemore Industries figures strongly in the future of Ghostbusters.”

Hudson previously spoke about the script: “I’ve read one version. I’m pretty sure they’re committed to another one. I’m very happy with it, but I also know it’s early days. Jason was incredible, and I love him and I really appreciate it. I’m so grateful to be able to work with him. So, I’m excited but… I never have and never assume anything. I’m happy though to have Ghostbusters in my filmography. And I’m really happy when I see little kids, two and three years old, who sing the song and are happy about it”.
