Rachael Leigh Cook and Missi Pyle share the screen on Netflix A tourist guide but 22 years ago they both starred Josie and the kittens.
Cook was the leader of the musical group Josie McCoy while Pyle played the role of Alexandra Cabot. The two stars recently reminisced about their time together in the 2001 comedy.
“I remember Missi improvising things that made us all cry with laughter,” Cook Tudum said of her co-star. “One particularly brilliant moment of hers is when my character gets a big reveal about the conspiracy and Missi completely steals the scene by not paying attention to anything I say and quietly sneaks up behind me, yanks a hair out of my head and inspect.. I remember watching the playback on the monitor in absolute awe.
Pyle noted that her character just “wanted to be one of the chicks.”
With Cook and Pyle reuniting for it A travel guide to fall in love withPyle said that it was “pretty exciting” to be working together again.
“I’ve seen her here and there over the years and I’ve always loved her,” Pyle said. “She’s hilarious. She has a very dry sense of humor and she’s naturally beautiful and soulful and I love what she’s done: she’s created this whole world for herself. I am just smitten and blown away by her. She does something that many other actors, myself included, have yet to do. She goes her own way.”
