Amblin Entertainment has acquired the feature film rights to the upcoming Hitman novel Anonymous killerswhich was written by Rob Hart. Apparently, there is a lot of hype around this book, which is due for release in 2024.

In the story, “the world’s deadliest hitman has left his violent life behind him and joined a 12-step underground support group for reformed killers. But when he is attacked by a mysterious assailant, he must risk everything to find out who is hunting him and why, and he must survive without breaking his promise never to kill again.
The novel is said to “mix the heart-pounding action of John Wick with the humor and humanity of Barry”. It looks like it could be a really good and successful movie depending on the creative talent that went into developing it.
Hart will serve as a producer on the film and the project will be overseen at Amblin by Lauren Abrahams.
