Dark Sky Films is having some fun with horror fans with a new slasher double feature experiment inspired by 1980s VHS horror films. They have released two trailers for two movies including The third Saturday of October, part V AND The third Saturday of October part 1.

Okay, yeah, you might be a little confused by this double throwback feature, but this is the kind of fun they’re having. You see, The third Saturday of October, part V kicks off the horror franchise, and is followed by The third Saturday of October part 1.
The third Saturday of October, part V it is technically the second entry in the slasher series and there is no part II, III or IV. I like what they are doing here. Sure, it doesn’t make much sense, but they’re doing something fun and unique!
If you like watching throwback horror movies in a fun way, then this is right up your alley! Both Part 1 and Part V will be released on May 5th.
