‘Snowfall’ series ending explained: Franklin’s fate and other revelations

OR snow fall The series finale starts right after Cissy (michael hyatt) kill teddy (carter hudson). Franklin (plum idris) is in complete shock at what just happened. He is scared because the transfer was going to happen. Cissy killing Teddy wasn’t part of the plan.

Franklin goes to Leon (john isias) for money. He’s desperate. Lee says he has nearly $3 million. Franklin offers to sell Leon a stake in Spring Street Development and explains how he will repay Leon. Leon tells Franklin that Cissy sacrificed herself to keep him safe. He won’t hand over the money, but Franklin won’t take no for an answer. However, Franklin is known to be Leon’s henchman. “Is this how you want this shit to end?” Franklin asks. That’s not what Leon wants, but that’s the way it should be.

Franklin goes to Cissy’s prosecution and she pleads guilty. Meanwhile, Leon’s wife Wanda (gail bean) tells him that he will return to Ghana. Leon hands him a wad of money so he can start a new life. Even if she wants to, Leon doesn’t ask her not to go.

Franklin goes to prison to visit Cissy. He wants to try and help her, but he’s desperate to know why she did it. When she doesn’t answer, he gets angry. He hangs up the phone and leaves without saying a word.

Franklin’s day goes from bad to worse when he learns that Veronique (devin tyler) was approached to sell its stake in Spring Street Development. He states that he just wanted to have the information just in case. Franklin grabs her by the neck and threatens her. He tells her never to go behind her back again.

Leon goes to see Cissy and she finally opens up. He asks if there is anything he can do for her. He wants her out of here and to go to Wanda. “Find out who you want to be in this world. And when you’re really ready to atone, she comes right back,” Cissy says. She believes Franklin is lost, calling it one of the “greatest tragedies” of her life. “But you are one of my biggest surprises,” she adds.

Franklin goes to the bank to request a credit line increase on his loan. It turns out that Veronique has already come for a large cash withdrawal. Franklin is caught by Veronique emptying the account of over $800,000. Franklin goes to Cissy again and explains Veronique’s situation. He asks Cissy to pass ownership of the house to him so she can sell it for cash. Cissy still doesn’t say a word to him. Franklin attacks his mother and is escorted out of prison.

Three months later, Franklin still has no money. No sign of Veronique yet, though she’s definitely given birth. Despite no leads on Veronique, Franklin gets a lead on Peaches (By Ray Davis). Franklin shows up at Peaches’ door and confronts him. Things get bigger and the guns are out. Franklin ends up killing Peaches.

In the house, Franklin finds a large safe. He thinks this is the break he needs and his money will be there. However, you cannot open it. He calls a locksmith to help you enter. While the blacksmith is working, a drug addict enters the room and does not recognize Franklin. The addict goes insane and Franklin kills him. “I don’t want to hurt you. I just need you to open that safe,” Franklin tells the locksmith.

The blacksmith does what he says. Franklin looks at the vault and turns away. The blacksmith says there’s only about $12,000 in there. Franklin tells him to put the money in his pocket. The blacksmith begs for his life. Franklin asks her name and tells her to leave. Franklin kills the blacksmith anyway.

Two years later, DEA agents are looking for Louie (Angela Lewis). The farm owners reveal that Louie ran away some time ago, but she is actually hiding in the stables. Gustavus (Sergio Peris-Mencheta) is a wrestling coach in Mexico and gets a call. He learns that his family is safe and settled in North Carolina.

Leon shows up at the Franklin house to talk. The house is in bad condition. As for Franklin, he’s a disaster. Your teeth are rotting. Now he is a drug addict. He is a shell of himself. Franklin still resents Veronique. Apparently he has a son. Veronique called him and told him that he would raise his child away from the United States.

Leon sees Franklin’s deterioration firsthand and offers him a job. Franklin just wants money and is elated with just $20. Leon is devastated to see how far Franklin has sunk. Leon and Franklin fly off guys on the cover film set on his walk, a nod to the late co-creator single john. When Leon and Franklin get home, the police are there. Eventually they came to seize the house. Leon tells Franklin that he will pay the property taxes and clean up. Franklin doesn’t want that.

“I’m free. Free from all this. In my fucking way. It’s not yours and it’s not theirs,” Franklin says. He looks at Leon seriously: “You’re my best friend. Best friend I’ve ever had. And I’m so proud of you”. He takes one last sip of his drink and starts to leave. Leon calls out to him with tears streaming down his cheeks, but Franklin doesn’t turn around. Franklin is alone now. Forever.
