“I love it. I don’t know if it’s going to happen in season two, but I really enjoyed exploring it in season one,” Rachel said. Social to find friendship. I think it was really important to lay the groundwork for them. new relationship, new romance, and it was a lot of fun I think just playing this character who has no self-awareness was a lot of fun for me, and for them to be a love interest was a lot of fun too. For “For me, those were two things I’ve never done before in TV shows, so I hope there’s more Luna and Jackson. I love writing and the show. So whatever they choose to do, I’m all for it.”

Unstable avoided the trope of pitting two women against each other for one man. The friendship between Luna and Ruby in and out of the lab has always been strong and supportive. It turns out it was the same for Rachel and emma ferreira Also.

“She didn’t know anyone in LA, so we spent every day together,” Rachel revealed. “Me, Emma and Aaron [Branch] we went out to dinner after filming and hung out every second. I think there was really this trust built between me and her that I hope you can see in the scenes. We both trusted each other to really be these characters. I really loved the best friend dynamic on a TV show and I feel like this is something people really want to see but don’t see very often, especially when there’s a love interest. It can be very competitive at times and I love writing, it wasn’t there. They said, no, we really value this relationship more than any kind of love relationship or love triangle. I think what I liked the most was how special the script was and that it didn’t make it competitive at all.

She continued, “I think what we’ve found together is friendship. I’m sure that’s very normal in a business environment, especially in a scientific environment where it’s very competitive. There aren’t many women at the top and I think it was really special for us to play that. We’ve always tried to get it right. We had a female scientist on set and she was showing us how to do something.”

“I think it was probably very difficult for Luna to defend herself like that,” Rachel said. hollywood life. “I love that this is her journey through the season. It’s just that she’s learning to speak and find her own voice. I think she really did it for herself. I don’t know how long they’ve been dating. Probably years. It took a long time. I love that the show really portrayed that as something really hard and something that Luna and Ruby could go through together. However, I love Brian. I have a soft spot in my heart for Brian.”

Rachel is already hopeful where Luna’s journey could go in a possible second season. “I would like Luna to tackle something even more challenging. She really stood up for herself and broke up with her boyfriend, but maybe she was a little provocative at work,” she said. “Maybe trying to get a promotion or switch positions or something where you already have to stand up for yourself in a different way, I think it would be super funny. Obviously keeping the same relationship with Ruby and Malcolm and just more mischief. I love these light comedies. I grew up with parks and entertainment where it’s not really about the workplace, but about relationships and what you go through together. I love the entire cast of Unstableand I want to see us go through big and weird situations and what that would be like for the show.
