“I am honored to be part of the legacy. And what better day than Superman Anniversary Day to fully immerse yourself in the first pre-production of “Superman: Legacy”? The costumes, sets and much more are now up and running.”

Even if it’s all fine and dandy, the only question on every fan’s mind is… who will take on the role of Clark Kent/Superman!? Gunn has already said several times that he hasn’t cast anyone in the role, but there’s no doubt that he has an actor or two in mind that he’ll eventually approach, if he hasn’t already. One thing we do know is that he will be casting a younger version of the character.

You have to appreciate that Gunn keeps fans updated on everything that’s happening with the project, and when he officially casts someone in the role, he’ll definitely let us know!

Superman: Legacy will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, driven by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

Superman: Legacy is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025 and I’m really excited to see what it will bring to the franchise.
