Assassin’s Creed it’s a huge video game franchise and it will continue to grow. WEBTOON recently announced that they have teamed up with Ubisoft to release a new original webcomic called Assassin’s Creed: The Forgotten Temple. This series from REDICE STUDIO will pick up after the fan favorite title Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag following Edward Kenway. Edward is out there looking for Pieces of Eden in Southeast Asia and fans will be treated to a Korean American descendant of his, Noa, who is investigating things in the present day.

The exciting new adventure features the corsair turned pirate after his full integration into the Assassin Brotherhood. Edward Kenway is engaged in a dangerous quest to find the Pieces of Eden on the coasts of the seas of Southeast Asia and will face mysterious new adversaries. Fans will also be introduced to Noa, a Korean American descendant of Edward Kenway, who investigates the Assassin’s past in the present while looking for information about his family.
Assassin’s Creed: Forgotten Temple will combine the elements of historical adventure and today’s action that made Assassin’s Creed a global sensation, with new storylines that will appeal to readers who are new to the franchise. The series will maintain Assassin’s Creed’s emphasis on historical accuracy and use the machine to travel with the memory of the Animus featured prominently in the video game series.
Sounds pretty cool in my opinion. I still have to play Black flagbut I’ve heard good things about it. Speaking of the opportunity, Julien Fabre from Ubisoft said:

The first six episodes of Forgotten temple will be available to read on WEBTOON April 24 at 5pm PT. Additionally, the webcomic will be localized for fans in the United States, Korea, Japan, Indonesia and France. You can check out Edward’s look for Forgotten temple under.
