Andy Serkis had a fun run in the Star Wars universe as he got the opportunity to play two different characters in the franchise. She got to play Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars sequel trilogy, and played Cassian Andor’s prison ally Kino Loy in Andor. However, he still doesn’t want to be done with the franchise!

Serkis would like to continue working on the franchise, but next time he’d like to step behind the camera to direct a film or TV show for Lucasfilm.
During an interview with ScreenRant at the Star Wars Celebration, Serkis opened up about his time Star Wars the franchise and whether he would consider directing a film or TV show, saying:
“I’d love to. I’d really really do that. I think this universe has a huge appeal to me. I think I’m one of the rare actors who’s had the opportunity to play two characters. But I’d love to.
Serkis has a few films to his credit as a director, including Venom: Let There Be Carnage AND Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, both mediocre films. She is currently working on an animated adaptation of Animal farm. I think it’s very likely that Lucasfilm will ask him to direct something at some point. I’m not sure if it will be a movie, though, as all of this is still ridiculously unpredictable. They keep announcing movies that never happen. Perhaps this recent wave of announcements will be different.
Additionally, Serkis hopes to return to play Kino in the second season of Andor. He told Collider, “I really hope it shows because I really love the character and I love playing him so much. It’s so complex and flawed and human and brave. I really love the character arc.
Would you like to see Serkis headed to Star Wars project someday?
