Peacock has released the first trailer for Peter Davidsonthe new comedy series called Bupkis, which is described as an “enhanced fictionalized real-life version of Pete Davidson”. The series also features a great cast including Joe Pesci as Davidson’s grandfather, Ed Falco like Davidson’s mom, Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simone Rex, Jon Stewart, Rai Romano, Kenan Thompson, Chase On Wondersand more.

It sounds like it’s going to be a very entertaining show that will offer honest insight into Davidson’s life, but it’s wrapped up in an overblown and crazy story. My favorite part is that Davidson was able to pull Joe Pesci out of retirement over the project!

The show was created by Davidson with his longtime friend and collaborator Dave Siro (Archie Black: The Worst, Saturday Night Live). Judah Miller is the showrunner and Jason Orley (Big adolescence, I want you back, Pete Davidson comedy specials) will direct and co-executive produce the series.

Bupkis will stream on Peacock starting May 4, 2023. Check out the trailer and let us know if it sounds like something you’d like to watch.
