Special: Gravitas Ventures acquires North American rights to Hello Sunshine documentary თამაშიFair gameBased on Eva Rodsky’s New York Times best-selling novel of the same name, it opens in select theaters on July 8.
Director Jennifer Sibel Newsom’s film looks at the unequal distribution of work in the home, a hot topic that has become more pressing in recent years as the COVID pandemic reinforces already strained dynamics in millions of families. It features interviews with Melinda Gates, SC Con writer Nicole Mason, and Congresswoman Katie Porter, as it takes viewers into the homes of real families who travel to balance their home lives. თამაშიFair game Developed by Hello Sunshine in collaboration with The Representation Project and P&G Studios.
“The house is very small, but it appeals to a much larger theme, which is the value of time,” Rodsky said. “Is holding a child’s hand in the pediatrics office as valuable as an hour in the gym? We think so. “This movie aims to spark a conversation that promotes true justice and healthy partnership, starting with our most important organization, the home.”

Gravitas Ventures is an independent feature film and documentary distributor founded in 2006, selling to multiplatform media company Anthem Sports & Entertainment last November, and recently announcing a new Gravitas Premiere record label.
