Matthew McConaughey breaks his scene with a single heartbreaking from Interstellar

Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey gave one of his most moving performances in Christopher NolanScience fiction epic Interstellar. The film concerned the space and the journey through time, the future of the planet, the quantum physics and the center of it, the family.

There is a scene in which the character of McConaughey Cooper has to face the fact that the spatial vehicle that he and his crew are piloting have gone out of course, making them come forward in the ten -year terrestrial sequence.

His character receives a video transmission from his two children, who went from children to adults at that moment, and has to wrap his head around the fact that he was missing.

McConaughey spoke of this important scene in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, where he explained:

“It was the first scene up. I had rested well that weekend, and I had spent a nice weekend. I was with my family. We entered and Nolan would settle down, they were about to play the ribbon.” Let’s try the tape. ”

“I went, ‘Uh, Uh Uh.’ I remember, I think I have a ticket.

It is quite surprising that it was a blow and the first recovery. I remember seeing that scene at the theater and crying your eyes. It is so shocking as to imagine, and it was not difficult for McConaughey. He continued:

“I didn’t have to go to a place. I thought and tried to understand, what happens if one day I went to work and [then] You were away for 10 years. When Casey Affleck and Chastain arrive [playing Cooper’s grown up children]The terror of having to lose this in my life with my children, I just reacted.

“That’s what I learned I like to do … there are things like that. Because I constantly tried to do it [be like]”We only do the first recovery.” Because everything after taking one is acting, for real. We can improve things in two, but everything after taking one, if you are completely relaxed and reacting, all after taking one it is acting.

“I didn’t want to know what was going on. I just wanted … it’s just about relaxing, then I’m just relaxing, then what happens, it happened.”

Everything worked and McConaughey’s method proved to be exactly just for these scene. I love the movie InterstellarAnd it’s nice to hear some of how it was done behind the scenes.
