It seems Studio Ghibli and Lucasfilm to collaborate on another animated film Star Wars project. The Japanese animation studio recently tweeted some Star Wars drawings of Ahsoka and Grogu dating 1977 kodama spirits Princess Mononoke in a field. It’s a beautiful picture!

Last time Studio Ghibli shared a file Star Wars photo, showed a Grogu figurine with beloved anime director Hayao Miyazaki in the background. This ended up leading to an animated short for Grogu, which was quite adorable.
The last photo with the art came with the caption, “This is a new day, a new beginning” and I’m pretty excited to see what this turns out to be. There’s nothing confirmed at the moment, but judging by what’s happened before, I suspect it will be another animated short. If not, it’s a beautiful piece of Studio Ghibli Star Wars art!
