Enjoy a new preview of the POWER RANGERS 30th Anniversary Special

We are so close to releasing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Forever. This is the 30th anniversary special celebrating the franchise and it’s going great. Many of the original Rangers are returning, including David Yost, Walter Emmanuel Jones, Catherine SutherlandAND Steve Cardenas to name a few. We got a trailer not too long ago, but now Netflix and Hasbro have released a short clip from the special that helps answer a question fans have had: How do these Rangers get their powers?

In the clip, Billy (played by Yost) explains to Kat (Sutherland), Zack (Jones) and Rocky (Cardenas) that he and Alpha have been working to replicate their original powers in new Power Coins. Zack is quick to remind everyone that Zordon explained this was dangerous, but Kat quickly dismisses it due to the risks involved. Many fans are pointing out how cool this explanation is for Kat and Rocky using Dino Power Coins, while others are saying this is causing more confusion thanks to things like Megaforce existing. I haven’t seen Megaforce, so I can’t really attest to that. The clip ends with Zack leading the Rangers featured in the morph, though the clip ends just before that moment of hype.

[The Rangers come] face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called upon once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the franchise’s legendary mantra “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger”, Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you’re always part of the Ranger family, and you’re always welcome.
