FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S Horror Movie gets October release date in theaters and streaming

Five Nights at Freddy’s Producer Jason Blum has revealed that the highly anticipated film adaptation of the horror film will be released on October 27, 2023 simultaneously in theaters and on the Peacock streaming service. I don’t get the simultaneous release like this right now, but whatever they want to do! It’s their movie!

The film is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon) and start Matthew Lillard (Yell, SLC Punk), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games), Elizabeth Lail, Pied Piper Rubio, Kat Conner SterlingAND Mary Stuart Masterson.

The film is based on the game franchise created by Scott Cathon, which follows “a night security guard as he starts work at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. As she spends her first night on the job, she realizes the concert won’t be so easy as the animatronic animals that entertain the children during the day play their sinister games at night.

The director previously shared a statement: “Entering Freddy’s rich and terrifying world alongside Scott Cawthon, Blumhouse and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is beyond thrilling. I can’t wait for audiences to immerse themselves in the wild and wonderful playground we’re creating.”

It was previously revealed that Jim Henson’s Creature Shop will be working with Blumhouse to bring the game’s animatronic creatures to life, which is exciting!

Blum said: “Five Nights at Freddy’s is more constantly asked than any film I’ve ever worked on, and I’m thrilled to confirm it’s finally happening! With Emma Tammi at the helm, we are committed to realizing Scott’s vision for the film. Rest assured, it will be and worth the wait.

I hope so! I would love nothing more than for this to be a great, fun, entertaining horror movie!
