April 2023 Xbox Game Pass Newcomers and Last Calls Part 1

It’s a new month and that means more games are coming to Xbox Game Pass. For the first part of April, Xbox has announced five titles that come with the included game subscription Hero of the cycle AND Ghost thread: Tokyo. What are you excited about playing?

• Loop Hero (Console & PC) – April 4th

  • The Lich has thrown the world into a timeless cycle and plunged its inhabitants into endless chaos. Wield an expanding deck of mystical cards to place enemies, buildings, and terrain along each expedition cycle unique to the brave hero.

• Iron Brigade (Cloud and Console) – April 6

  • Join The Mobile Trench Brigade and protect humanity from the evil Monovision menace in this Tower Defense shooter from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions. Use a combination of mobile firepower and fixed defenses to turn the tide of war in our favor.

• Ghostwire: Tokyo (Cloud, Console & PC) – April 12

  • Tokyo is overrun by deadly supernatural forces as a dangerous occultist wipes out the city’s population in an instant. Join forces with a powerful spectral entity in their quest for revenge and master a powerful arsenal of abilities to uncover the dark truth behind the disappearance as you face the unknown in Ghostwire: Tokyo on April 12, including the new Spider’s Thread update.

• NHL 23 (Console) EA Play – April 13

  • Game Pass Ultimate members can experience game-changing hockey April 13 at EA Sports NHL 23 via EA Play. It’s time to grab your friends, hit the ice and make history. Experience the most connected Chel ever with adding female players to Ultimate Team and cross-platform matchmaking.

• Minecraft Legends (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 18

  • Available on Day 1 with Game Pass: Piglets threaten to consume the Overworld. Are you the hero this sweet land needs? He explores lush biomes to forge alliances with new friends and familiar mobs, then take on the piglets in epic battles. But beware: they always react.
