Robert DeNiro is set to star in a new crime series for Paramount+ titled Bobby Meritorious. The project was written and produced by Billy Raybest known for his work on Terminator: Dark Fate, Richard Jewell, Overlord, The Hunger Games, Captain Philippsand more.

The series is “set in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, which is a sovereign realm with seemingly unlimited power and scope. But now an informant in SDNY’s biggest case, Avery “The Sage” Accomando, played by De Niro, is ready to tear this historic institution apart. Only one man can stop him, a legendary ex-cop turned prosecutor, affectionately known as Bobby Meritorious. The battle between these two giants is a fight for justice itself.”
It looks like it will be an interesting series. I like these types of shows, so I’m into it! This project marks De Niro’s second TV project he’s joined within weeks of joining the Netflix conspiracy thriller Day Zero.
