Jon Haymanwriter and producer on To brake, shared in a deleted tweet a photo of himself with the show’s creator and star, Larry David, and wrote, “Maybe you love the show. Maybe you hate the show. Maybe you don’t give a fuck. In any case, shooting the last scene of the last episode of the last season.

To brake co-star Richard Lewis he also tweeted about filming his last scene of the series, saying, “Was in my trailer a few hours ago on location shooting my last scene of #Curb12. Hard to believe we started in 2000. The cast and crew all knew we were working for a genius. When that rarity happens, no one ever takes a moment for granted. We love you LD.

Although it seems that the series will end after the twelfth season, executive producer Jeff Schaffer she recently told Deadline that’s not the case! She said: “Reports of our disappearance have been greatly exaggerated. We literally just finished shooting last week. So yeah, we’re done. But the door is not closed! She went on to explain:

“My first season was season five. And do you know what the final episode of that season was called? ‘End.’ Not ironically. It was 15 years ago. So every season is the last season. It’s always been like this. Larry put all the ideas he likes into the season. He’s the only one who thinks he’ll never have another good idea. So, obviously, he’s done with it for a while. But you know, he usually goes out and has lively encounters with the west side of LA and then the ideas come. So we’re in the same spot that we always are. It’s just business as usual.

When asked if the door to the series wasn’t closed, Schaffer insisted, “There isn’t even a door.” As for what we can expect to see from season 12, all he has to say is that it’s “very, very funny.” He added, “It was one of the hardest moments I’ve ever laughed on set.”

Schaffer went on to talk about the process of making the show, saying, “We write it three times because we write the structure, we write it on set, and now we’re writing it in the editing room. It’s great. It will be a great season. I’m really excited about it. And I think people will really, really like it.

I’m a big fan of Curb! I can’t wait to see season 12 and I’m happy to learn that there is a very real possibility that we could see another season one day!
